Let me tell you all the viewers who are currently viewing it, about something more off religion or you could call morality.
The term religion is too shabby for anything to be described as holy. People often use the word 'religion' in sense of worship, or may be for God. it is not true. since according to HINDU Philosophy, the God or almighty is free from all rituals or formalities offered by men.
The true word for the term 'Dharma' is not religion but its "Righteousness, Moral-conduct, or Universal Laws".

Time period of a living civilization

Here is a thing or two about the standard calculation of time in ancient Hindu civilization
"to insert the softest lotus-pellet, time taken by a niddle is called a 'Truti'.
100 Truti = 1 Luv

30 Luv = 1 Nimesh

27 Nimesh = 1 Gurvakshara

10 Gurvakshara = 1 Praana

6 Praana = 1 Vighatika

60 Vighatika = 1 ghatika or Dand

60 Dand = 1 Day/night.

So in this manner there are 17496000000 'Trutis' in one day/night. According to modern differentiation one day/night = 86400 seconds.
So in this manner one 'Truti' = 17496000000/86400 = .202500 seconds, (Or 1 second = 202500 Trutis).
This is the ancient Hindu (Indian) way of the calculation of time. Through this they were able to calculate the measure of time period of a century, millennium and even the period of DOOM (Pralaya) and Creation (Srishti).

cont.
there are total of 14 Manus or the progenitors in one universal cycle or the 'Kalpa'. the time taken by the Kalpa or universal cycle is equal to one catastrophe or the 'Pralaya'.
one Mahayug or the great era  =  4320000 earth years.
Now total of 71 mahayug is equal to one Manu-era;   71* 4320000  =  30672000 earth years (human years).
More of all there are 14 Manus in a Universal cycle, so   14 * 30672000  =  429408000 earth years.
So in this manner we see that the method of time calculation in ancient Hindu india was far mujch beyond than any other civilization and more often it is as much accurate as the modern day's scientific methodology.

cont.

according to the indian way of the measurement of time there are four major eras of the world, i.e. -'Sat', 'Tretaa', 'Dvaapar' and 'Kali'. Each of the them having twice greater than the other.
the time measurement of the Kali-era is 432000 earth years, in which by addition of the same can give thew measure of the other three, i.e. -
                                                432000 * 2 = dvaapar-era
                                                432000 * 3 = Tretaa-era
                                                432000 * 4 = Sat-era (or Satyug)
The assembling of the four eras is called a "Mahayuga' or the Great era.
there are total of 71 Great-eras which are combined to form a "Manvantar' or the age of a Manu or an aeon.
There are total of 14 aeons or the ages of manu. According to the Hindu philosophy after every aeon there is a short catastrophe in which the whole world is sink down in the disastrous hands of the nature and one of the surviving human titled as manu is give the task to lay the foudation of the human race on the earth. he is often called as the "Progenitor" and titled as the king.

kal parimana.
